Born out of that, was the desire to build a platform to create a visual and intuitive for options trading, sending the complexity and analytics into the background.
In 2013, OptionsPlay was launched with Ramesh Srinivas, CTO, and Tony Zhang, Chief Strategist and Mark Engelhardt, CEO to build a revolutionary way for investors to find ideas, explore and analyze option strategies. Mark is responsible for OptionPlay’s growth management and overall strategy as Chief Executive Officer. His goal of empowering individual investors to generate higher returns with lower risk led to the creation of the OptionsPlay platform, now recognized as a market leader. Mark and his partners proudly deliver the best technology and proven strategies not only to online brokers, wealth advisors, and exchanges but also to the individual investor.
Ramesh is the Chief Technology Officer for OptionsPlay. A 25-year veteran of the fintech industry, he is the technological mastermind behind delivering on its promised, disruptive vision of Options for the Rest of Us. Ramesh is a firm believer in the advantage of small and efficient agile teams. When not managing various aspects of the technology powering the platform and its applications, Ramesh loves to roll up his sleeves and actively build things that add value and increase efficiency for OptionsPlay users.
Serving as Chief Strategist, Tony assembled an agile team of developers, designers, and quants to create the OptionsPlay product suite for trading and analysis. He also developed and managed many of the firm's partnerships extending from the Options Industry Council, Nasdaq, Montreal Exchange, Merrill, Fidelity, Schwab, and Raymond James. As a proven thought leader and contributor on CNBC's Options Action show, Tony shares ideas on using options to leverage gain while reducing risk.
As the Chief Relationship Officer, Jeff focuses on OptionsPlay's relationship dynamics with clients and partners. He works to initiate public outreach, build relationships, ensure client satisfaction, increase engagement, and promote retention. Jeff has enjoyed 25+ years in systems development and management, quantitative analytics, and risk management across a host of asset classes.
As a Trading Analyst, Prakash assists OptionsPlay in all market research for items such as DailyPlay trade ideas, market outlooks, and thematic investing series. He is an avid forex trader with a genuine interest in capital and currency markets as well as the technology industry. Prior to serving OptionsPlay as Trading Analyst, Prakash was a Marketing Associate. He developed scripts to automate advertising and promotional processes, published blog articles, created event emails and social media campaigns, crafted marketing strategies for lead generation growth, analyzed traffic data, and helped optimize workflow.
Michelle creates and helps oversee all marketing operations and initiatives for OptionsPlay as the Marketing Specialist. Her mission is to share accessible "Options for the Rest of Us" with the world. She is committed to healthy growth throughout the company from expanding individual memberships to large partnerships. Michelle's zeal for marketing stems from a background in public relations, advertising, and brand analysis & development.
As Director of Customer Success, Amy's focus is to build and lead an outstanding team in support of OptionsPlay’s growing member base. She sees the company becoming the gold standard for member experience in options trading. Amy also fosters the expansion of business development opportunities within OptionsPlay’s Institutional, Exchange, and Channel partnerships. Amy has over 9 years of business development and customer success experience in the fintech industry.
